Do they know me? Like me? and Trust me?

Go Giver-- An excellent book.. gonna pen down the things that i really like in there..
1) How would I know? I wouldn't. But you would. It's the honor system. I have to know you're taking this serioursly. But here's what's far more important: you have to know you're taking this seriously.
You want to make sure that I'm not wasting your time. Fair enough. Joe, No offense, but you don't have that power. I mean, the power to waste my time, Only i can do that.

2) Go looking for the best in people and you'll be amazed at how much talent, ingenuity, emphathy and goodwill you will find.
Ultimately, the world treats you more or less the way you expect to be treated.
You're saying, people don't take advantage of you because you don't expect them to? That because you don't put any focus on selfishness and greed, even when it's all around you, it doesn't have much impact on you? It's like a healthy immune system- the disease is all aound you, but you don't catch it?

3) On their way into the building, someone pushed gruffy past them, complaning about how croeded it was, and bumped into Pindar. Much to Joe's surprise, Pindar simply smiled at him. It stuch Joe that Pindar was exceedingly gracious to everyone they encountered, and as they sank into their seats, Joe asked Pindae about that. "It never hurts to be kind to people." Pindar replied.

4) A very useful thing to remember: Appearances can be deceiving, Truth is, they nearly always are"

5)Everyone likes to be appreciated. And that's the Golden rule of business, "All things being equal, people will do business with and refer business to those people they know, like and trust!

6)What differentiate a good resturant vs a great resturant?
A bad restaurant, triest to give just enough food and service, both in quantity and quality, to justify the money is takes from the customer. A good restaurant strives to give the most quantity and quality for the money it takes. But a Great restaurant, a great restaurant stives to defy imagination! Its goal is to provide a higher quality of good and service than any amount of money could possibily pay for!

7) First Law os Stratospheric Success!
Your true worth is determined by how uch more you give in value than you take in payment.
Giving away more value than you get paid for
The first question should be: Does it serve? Does it add value to others? then ask, Does it makes money?
In other words, exceed people's expectations, and they will pay you even more. That's one way to look at it, but the point isn't to have them pay you more, it's to five them more. You give, give, give. Why? Because you love to. It's not a strategy, it's a way of life. and when you do, then very very profitable things begin to happen! All the great fortunes in the world have been created by man and woman who had a greater passion for what they were giving- their product, service, or idea, than for what they were getting. And many of these great fortunes have been squandered by others who had a greater passion for what they were getting than what they were giving.
